First a few days ago there was this story:

Friends claim they found treasure buried in back yard

Today there is this story:

Men who claimed to find buried treasure arrested

Turns out the buried treasure was from a house they were re-roofing.

We should've known. How? Its in Methuen, MA for God's sake.
