Weekends in NY

Do you think it mere coincidence that this weekend in the city featured the Mermaid Parade, the Gay Pride Parade (and all it's attendant celebrations), and the Billy Graham Crusade? Do you think they did this so the Evangelicals could have all their fun at the same time? Was someone hoping for a sex riot? (This might be fun to watch, but oh! the humanity).

At any rate, I have been able to see roving groups of both gay tourists and people on (literal) Jesus trips.

Despite the heat, that's why I love this place.
